Police investigating after shots fired, vehicle burned


The Windsor Police Service is investigating after shots were fired at a home and a vehicle was set on fire in East Windsor.

Shortly before 7 a.m. on October 17, 2024, officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the 1500 block of Monticello Street. Through investigation, officers discovered multiple bullet holes in the exterior of a residence. Officers learned that a white cube van had been seen leaving the area at the time of the incident.

Shortly after, police were called to the nearby area, where a fire had intentionally been set to a white cube van.

No injuries were reported as a result of these incidents.

Investigators are asking residents in the immediate vicinity of both incidents to check their video surveillance or dashcam footage for evidence.
