Police investigating suspicious death in south-central Windsor 


The Windsor Police Service is investigating a suspicious death in south-central Windsor.

Shortly before 7:30 a.m. on October 25, 2024, police were dispatched to a home in the 2400 block of Highland Avenue for a report of trouble unknown. Officers arrived at the scene and discovered a 69-year-old man deceased inside the residence.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are currently enroute and will remain there for some time. Residents can expect a significant police presence as officers conduct a canvass of the neighbourhood for witnesses and information.

We ask members of the public to avoid the area while this investigation continues.

Investigators urge residents in the immediate area to check their dash-cam or surveillance footage between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. for evidence related to this case.
