Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in vehicle collision
 

The Windsor Police Service is investigating the circumstances surrounding a motor vehicle collision in which a pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries.

Shortly after 10 p.m. on November 1, 2024, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Howard Avenue and Edinborough Street following a report of a motor vehicle collision. Through investigation, officers learned that a vehicle travelling northbound on Howard Ave. struck a pedestrian that was attempting to cross the street.  

The 27-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.  

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
