Five suspects arrested, one sought after string of thefts and break-ins

Yesterday, officers arrested Anna Filipovski in the 2400 block of Dougall Ave. 

She has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000.

Five suspects arrested, one sought after string of thefts and break-ins


The Windsor Police Service has arrested five people and seeks a sixth suspect in connection with a series of commercial thefts and break-ins.

Between January 28 and February 13, 2025, officers responded to a total of four thefts and break-ins at retail businesses throughout Windsor. In two cases, the suspects used tools to smash the front entrance or window to gain entry to the property. In the other two incidents, the suspects entered the store, selected a large quantity of items, and left without making payment.

In total, the suspects stole approximately $8,000 worth of merchandise, including perfumes and colognes.

The Windsor Police Target Base Unit initiated an investigation and identified six suspects as well as a black sedan that was used in all four incidents.

Officers arrested four suspects at a residence in the 2100 block of Longfellow Ave., where they also found some of the stolen merchandise. A fifth suspect was arrested during a traffic stop near Totten St. and South Cameron Blvd. 

Luke Willms, 28, is charged with the following:

•    Break-and-enter (x 2)

•    Possession of break-in tools (x 2)

•    Wearing a disguise to commit an offence (x 2)

•    Theft under $5,000 (x 3)

•    Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

Robert Foley, 50, is charged with the following:

•    Theft under $5,000

•    Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

•    Failure to comply with a release order


Kenneth McLachan, 40, is charged with the following:

•    Break-and-enter

•    Possession of break-in tools

•    Wearing a disguise to commit an offence

•    Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000


Crystal McLachlan, 39, is charged with theft under $5,000 and failure to comply with a release order.

Damian Lavaious, 41, is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Anna Filipovski, 23, on one count of theft under $5,000. She is described as a white female with a light complexion. She is 5’10” tall, with a thin build, brown eyes, and brown curly hair.

Some of the stolen items have been recovered and returned to their owners.
