One arrested, weapons and drugs recovered in drug investigation

   
  

A drug investigation by the Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Unit has led to the arrest of one person and the seizure of over $6,000 in narcotics.

On April 11, 2024, at 1 p.m., officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Glengarry Avenue. During their search, drug officers located and seized 18.8 grams of fentanyl and 29.2 methamphetamine. They also recovered three airsoft pistols and several rounds of ammunition.

Wayne Golden, 34, was arrested and charged with the following:
•  Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, namely fentanyl
•  Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, namely methamphetamine 
•  Possession of a firearm while prohibited
