Police investigating fatal collision involving motorcycle  


The Windsor Police Service is investigating a fatal vehicle collision involving a motorcycle. 
Shortly after 8:30 p.m. last night, officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Dougall Avenue near the E.C. Row Expressway. Officers learned that a motor vehicle attempted to turn left onto the expressway from Dougall Ave. and collided with a motorcycle in the oncoming lane. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene following the collision. 

The 19-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The southbound lanes of Dougall Ave., from E.C. Row to Eugenie St. W., were closed to traffic for several hours while officers conducted their investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
