Suspect arrested after drug seizure


A drug investigation by the Windsor Police Service has led to one arrest and the seizure of a weapon and over $4,500 worth of illegal drugs.

On February 15, 2024, members of the Drugs and Guns Enforcement Unit (DIGS) executed a search warrant at a house in the 700 block of Hildegarde Rd. During their search, officers seized various amounts of illegal drugs, including cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, and oxycodone. They also recovered a handheld taser, $970 in cash, a digital scale, and drug packaging materials.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., officers arrested a suspect in the 3100 block of Howard Ave.

Deanna Chadwick, 42, has been charged with the following:
Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (x 7)
Possession of a schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking (x 8)
Failure to comply with a release order
