The Windsor Police Service looks forward to joining the community as we celebrate one of the area’s largest and most iconic firework shows. The Ford International Fireworks show is scheduled to take place on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 10:06 p.m. The Parade Corporation may, at their discretion, adjust the start time due to weather to accommodate the event.

We anticipate a significant turnout. We urge all families attending to take a photo of their children at the beginning of the event in the clothes they are wearing that night. This will ensure you can provide officers with a recent and accurate photo if they are separated during the event.

Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or shuttle downtown as there will be several road closures. The Windsor Bicycling Committee is offering FREE bike parking at Charles Park Square, beginning at 6 p.m. Transit Windsor will also offer FREE shuttle bus service for the evening. Shuttles will leave Devonshire Mall beginning at 6 p.m. from Sydney Avenue. The last shuttle will return to the mall from McDougall south of Wyandotte where patrons will have to walk from immediately following the fireworks until midnight.

Many streets will have restricted access to the downtown area beginning at 6 p.m. Please see the photo of the map for reference. A reminder that if your vehicle is parked in the restricted areas labeled no parking zones after 6 p.m, the vehicles illegally parked will be subjected to removal.

Have fun and be safe!
