The Windsor Police Service has arrested four suspects after recovering a stolen motor vehicle.
On October 31, 2023, shortly before 10 a.m., officers were conducting a routine patrol in a parking lot in the 3100 block of Howard Ave. During this time, they spotted a 2014 black Audi matching the description of a vehicle reported stolen three weeks ago. Officers reviewed surveillance footage of the area, which showed four suspects drive into the parking lot and exit the vehicle.
When the suspects returned to the vehicle a short time later, officers quickly arrested three of them. A fourth suspect attempted to flee and was arrested following a brief foot chase.
In addition to recovering the stolen Audi, officers seized a licence plate that had been taken from a second vehicle.
