Windsor Police seize $95,000 in drugs

An investigation by the Windsor Police Service’s Drugs and Guns Unit (DIGS) has led to the arrest of a suspect and the seizure of over $95,000 in illegal drugs.

On September 26, 2023, officers arrested an individual suspected of drug trafficking and executed a search warrant at his residence in the 400 block of Dormar Drive.

The search resulted in the seizure of 894.9 grams of cocaine and 62.3 grams of crack cocaine. Officers also seized over $14,000 in Canadian and U.S. currency.

The suspect, a 39-year-old male, is charged with the following:
- two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
- four counts of failure to comply with a release order
