Stores Unit

The WPS Stores Unit is a vital operational support service where the organization is properly equipped and outfitted to serve the community. Headed up by the Police Stores Manager, this organizational unit is responsible for acquiring and distributing everything from office supplies, batteries, and computer cartridges to uniforms and soft body armour.

The Stores Manager is committed and focused on getting the best available equipment upgrades, facilitated by an active involvement in the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG). This is a consortium of Police Stores personnel from across Ontario who collaborate on best practices to obtain optimal quality and pricing of police equipment and supplies used in the policing profession throughout Ontario.
